"Is it believed that Native Americans came up from Central America?" Darn it, should have gone to Wikipedia instead of trying to wing it... en.wikipedia.org Side note. Apparently the distinctive Clovis flint knives and spear heads are pretty much identical to those found in Europe. This sparked a serious fight amongst paleoanthropologists 20 or so years ago when it was thought the Native Americans were the earliest settlers.
