Hello Sir and Other Members of The Kahuna Thread:

I have been lurking for the past several months but I feel at home here. So I had to join in. Although I do not prefer to be a bear, conditions require me to be one. I am a trader from the seventies and eighties. I stopped trading in the eighties when program trades turned the market before you could react to it. I was a tape reader and a momentum trader twenty years ago. It is funny but I never heard the term momentum trader until this bull. I speculated on fundamentals and technical analysis. I read Graham, Loeb, Mackay ("Extraordinary Popular Delusions . . .") and I was a devoted follower of Edson Gould. I knew CNBC as FNN and Investor's Business Daily as Investor's Daily.

I survived the bears of 1970, 1973 and 1974, and the early 80s. As an individual with a day job, I spent more time in phone booths making trades then Clark Kent did changing clothes. I have one long position I hope to unload shortly when I can find just the right bull. In my time I was quite good at reading the market, but I am quite rusty now. I have forgotten a great deal. It is said that a person never forgets how to swim, maybe I can get back my stroke. If so, maybe I can lure a few bulls towards the water.
