The Democrats were fed a bunch of hogwash and lies about Iraq. They were skillfully manipulated into voting for the war there. One of the things Republicans do very well is raise the patriotism issue at every turn, implying that Democrats who don't want to go to war are not patriotic. Patriotism as it is practiced to manipulate people is a travesty. Hillary Clinton is very pro the war in Iraq, one of the gazillion reasons she will never get my vote for anything.

I don't remember the details of Kosovo, and, believe it or not, try not to write about things about which I am not reasonably knowledgeable. I wasn't really trying to ignore Tom's point about Kosovo--I just don't remember what came down there.
