Chris from my vantage point the illegals are hired by the subs to build the houses but the local gringos seem to be involved in just about every other job or business benefiting from a RE boom. When you think about it there are a lot of areas from white collar types like title insurance, legal, appraiser, Re agent, home inspection, insurance agent, mortgage brokers and bankers, jobs in government from tax collector, property appraiser, official records, zoning, permitting to inspection, then add licensed trades of HVAC, plumbing and electrician, general unlicensed repair and service from pool to lawn, plus retail establishments like Home Depot, Lowes, furniture, appliance and other home furnishings ect.. Then add in accountants and tax preparers for all the above. Wow that is about the whole economy these days where I live<g>
