Nope. All of European media never challenged the official crap about 911, al qaeda, bin laden, etc. There never was a free debate with conspiracy theorists I can recall.... Even that guy Thierry Meyssan scarcely made it to a TV studio....

To an extent, yes... The shrewdest ones, however, ponder whether it's merely a matter of "Mr Bush" or of some deeper, wider illness. Several pundits and insiders of US politics(*) have suggested that Bush is not a freak President in an otherwise unremarkable succession of "reasonable" and "moderate" US Presidents. They posit that it's America as a whole, it's the American polity, that's swerved away from a peaceful, consensual course of action.
