I would have been diving in Maldives around the time of Tsunami if it hadn't been for business problems at home...phew!

But there is more to it than staying away from low lying lands. The global warming is affecting the world in very drastic ways. Major lakes, some tens of miles long, have nearly vanished in central Asia. Typhoons and floods are a lot more common and stronger. Draughts, same story.

I know there is at least one research center that is running sophisticated models of world climate, but I can't find them anymore :(
