Don't get me started on the Great Barrier Reef! I dive there once every couple of years or so. There is a destruction going on there that can deplete the earth's supply of oxygen. What I find so infuriating is that the people who do not support the environmental causes are the same people who wouldn't be caught dead in nature. So not only they are voting to destroy the nature they had no part in creating and have no part in enjoying, they are totally ignorant of what is happening in plain view. For them we may as well be discussing the environment on Mars!
