Remember one thing....there's a difference between a "payroll" job counted by the feds and the number of ways people are making a living in this economy.

Neither you nor I know what that difference is....but to this day, I've not seen any horror stories about young people or old people who want to work NOT being able to find some way to get along in the world.

I saw a bazillion of those stories about workers in the early 1990s and even worked in an office where a bunch of three-piece-suit former-"executives" suddenly came into real estate as a last resort. Not long after, they left real estate because other jobs opened up more suited to their needs.

Where are all the stories about college graduates today NOT being able to find a job and laying around at home on Mom and Dad's payroll?
