That was in June. How many REFR'S had she smoked since then? What in the Hell was a REFR? Did she smoke?? Nancy had been looking after her in a storage room in the Senate Building. Most days were pretty dreamy and the nights were in there somewhere. She was lucky to have run into Nancy. Senators often came to visit her, as well. They drank brandy and smoked cigars from Cuba. Many of them were good friends to Muffy, now. There was a lot of affection, and sometimes Nancy was in there somewhere, too. But Muffy really could not remember any of it. Just a lot of really fine people. Really really fine people... Nancy brought her the medicine...
