Well, don't I have a wonderful memory! Did we not have PM before then? Or did something special occur? If the following (from the FAQ) is correct, then the "ignore feature" is even more of a farce than I imagined. What do these ninnies who pretend to be "ignoring" you gain from this farcical game? Why do they choose to make themselves laughing stocks? And what can SI ADMIN possibly be thinking? "Public messages posted From AND To users you have Ignored will be filtered when reading messages. Clicking on the Ignored Message link in ignored messages will temporarily "pause" the Ignore setting and display the text of that message. When Reading in Batch Mode, clicking on the Ignored Message link in ANY of the ignored messages will temporarily pause the Ignore feature on that batch of messages. Your global ignore state will be activated when you navigate away from the individual message or message batch, respectively."
