I've been to Haines, Skagway, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Craig, Petersburg, Hoonah, Sitka, Thorne Bay, Moose Pass, and Anchorage.

I would have to say Sitka is my favorite.

Haines has better weather.

Ketchikan is a half mile wide and 20 miles long, or something like that.

When you can see it, there is no place on earth more beautiful than Alaska. A perfect day is priceless.

All places are isolated. Anchorage is laid out like somebody playing Sim City while drunk. A building here, a building there, moose pasture in between.
