If he had known he was gonna die he may have pursued other paths.

Thing is Casey himself may have strongly believed in the Iraq mission but that's immaterial. His mother obviously does not believe in the Iraq mission and she puts a face on many like-minded mothers who have sacrificed so much.

It must be tough to lose a son and then have to listen to the political mumbo-jumbo spewed out by the White House about the Iraqi War. First he denied the insurgency was even significant now Rum-dum keeps talking about how the next milestone will break the insurgency. But that never happens.

Now the constitution looks like it will be rejected by the Sunnis which will put everything back to before square one. Not to mention WMDs.

I feel bad about the Iraqi mess and I haven’t lost a son to it.
