The "good news" in that is that these guys are rarely, if ever, exactly right. It's like the old golf joke; if you are on a green that people are hitting into, stand by the pin, it's the safest place.

I remember watching Charlie last year... it was dead aim at my house, at the damn FRONT DOOR of my house for 36 hours. We were all crapping our pants as it went from a big 2 to a 3 to a 4 in a couple of hours, bearing down... then, 2 hours away, it suddenly, unpredicted, turned east and was a non-event (for us, for a lot of others it was obviously a nightmare). (I'll tell you EVERYBODY in the 'hood was out in the street with a strong cocktail... what a party THAT turned into).

You never know. All you can do is prepare and hope for the best... even though it's taking direct aim, the odds are that it will miss you. And get some other poor schmuck.
