The deregulation of S+L's caused the ripoffs. The deregulation of the energy business caused the ripoffs. What more proof do you need that government by industry for industry is a license to steal? And it's exactly what Bush-Cheney and Delay have transformed our country into, a land where the biggest corporations can buy permission from the governbment to do almost anything they want, even if it hurts the environment, the public health, tax-payers and consumers. Nopw add to this the tax-sheltering of the CEO and idle rich class and you get a clear picture of who Bush-Cheney really serve. Not us.
