"I'm in favor of a RE crash. I think it will help those that need help (young singles and families)" Longer term yes it will benefit the next generation that is now perhaps in high school or college. Short term 3-5 years out only the smart vultures benefit and a generation of folks already in the market will be so burned, their psyche ruined and credit destroyed that it will take them a long time to come back.
