Lizzie you may be right. Obviously most of the US didn't give a d*mn about the results of the IT implosion here, and outsourcing. Why should we care about the RE crash?

Also - for places like SV, it might make it much more competitive long-term, no? - as people could actually afford to live there - companies could pay smaller salaries since people didn't have to live in 600K condos, etc.

I'm in favor of a RE crash. I think it will help those that need help (young singles and families) and ironically, I also think it will help the growth stock market which is so moribund it is killing the startup climate.
