EP,

OK, $10/gal is a stab in the dark. However, I think panic and severely limited supplies will cause prices to rise. Many thought $3 gas would affect demand much more than it has. Yes, demand is relatively inelastic. That is why I am thinking maybe $10 ST. The effects on food prices and other products -- higher, yes, but how much? Discretionary income for many will be negative for a long time.

SPR tapping might not help if refineries sustain major damage. Sure hope not.
