The one good thing with Bob's decades of TA experience is that he is at least willing to share it with others unlike other TA people I have seen on some of these threads.

Thankyou for your generous comment here, Melissa. I just want to set the record straight. I have been following stocks on and off for over 20 years. During that time, I have independantly witnessed technical phenomenon and utilized some of what I saw. However, it has been only relatively recently that I have learned about TA, made a formal study of TA, and use the tools that TA has supplied me. I am thinking that my past observations of stock behavour has probably helped me a great deal in quickly picking up the specifics of TA. Also, my strong analytical background has helped me out alot too. So I do not want to mislead anyone into thinking that I have as much experience with the application of TA as for instance someone like Richard Estes here at SI.

I do enjoy helping other people who are willing to listen. I benefit from this experience by the feedback and conversations I have with others who pursue TA, especially the ones who challenge my opinions. This is where I learn the most.
