DR. MEADE, I spoke with Paul Henry yesterday. He wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped, but then again he rarely is. He briefly mentioned that there may be something positive concerning a domestic carrier coming soon. This may be the news you heard about. I'll take anything at this point. I asked if he knew who might be selling, but he knew of no group or individual selling off. He knows nothing of any short position. Claims to be absolutely baffled by the stock price. Makes no sense to me either. Said Soros may buy back the interest in Hainan Airline. Led me to believe that there may be a need for a large outlay of cash, I'm hoping for a China Eastern deal. Claims that Soros is still happy with progress (but not with stock price). Company on track with China Southern, should be generating revenues next summer. Paul Henry gives the impression that he wishes you wern't bothering him even though it's his job. I'll post anything I hear and hope others will do the same. George
