Sounds fantastic!

Here is a story.

I had won about $800.00 and was back a couple of days later. I could not get a hand and when I did it would lose. Finally, a newbie sat down and won 2 of 5 hands with a flush and a tripp. But she made very little because she did not raise or understand what she had in the circumstances.

The cards are dealt and I have NOTHING. Everybody but Newbie folds. I am on the button. I hesitate for a split second as it dawns on me and I hope nobody has seen it. I raise her and she calls.

The flop is high cards.

On the turn I catch a six for a tiny pair and I bet her check. She raises and I re-raise immediately and lean back with an (almost) invisible smirk. She is still too shocked to fold, and calls. She checks the river and I toss in my bet. I think everybody (except newbie) knows I will lose if she calls. I can hear my heart beating. She takes about 20 seconds....then she throws in her cards. I shake my head in anger...

The end of the night. Last hand (I'm at a Canadian casino that closes). Most of us are in just for the Hell of it. I have (again) a pair of sixes after the flop. We are all capping the bets and moving through the turn. And then on the river, I catch the third six!

Of course, I was not positive I had won--but I had! TWO hands and I broke even for the day! Gotta love it!
