On "Meet The Press" four top military experts including Wes Clark and Barry McAffrey were questioned by Tim Russert about the war. Not a single one of them gave Bush-Cheney high marks for anything regarding this war. Even the Republican generals admitted Bush-Cheney-Rumsfield are poor commanders in chief who have gotten us into a real pickle. The only difference in opinion was optimism or not for the future. Trying to make the best of a bad situation. But hoping against hope is not a policy, it's just dreaming.

Also, interesting to note that the all the generals believe Bush will start bringing troops home before the mid-term elections next year. So Bush does have a time-table, a self-serving GOP political time-table. To try and save his own butt from impeachment by keeping that crook Tom Delay in power. In other words, the tail is wagging the dog.
