I "believe" that logic can solve a lot of problems silly articles of faith cause. I think we can pretty much see (now) that the Iraq mess was caused by "faith"- this administrations faith in it's (deluded) ability to "transform" Iraq in to some Western style democracy, and this administrations "faith" in the justice of what it was doing. When faith fails (as it does over and over- I personally love the "Great Dissapointment"- see link at the bottom of the page) I think realism can come to the rescue, if the former faithful are capable of embracing it. If they aren't, then they deserve what they get- and the rest of us are just SOL. en.wikipedia.org
