Imo the worst rarely happens, for whatever reason ... I think it will go in as a weaker storm and hopefully the storm surge won't be as bad as it could be.

In this case the worst is really, really bad though.

Re evacuations, I did a "dry run" last year when it looked like Ivan was headed our way ... hit the road at 3:30am and it worked just fine ... but at this stage I would hunker down in a shelter.
