re: The people will be mostly out of there when the storm hits....... They figure there are at least 100,000 without the means to leave... poor folks without cars, etc. I guess one of the news stations is showing many, many people partying in the French Quarter... saying they always hype these things. We'll see what happens... down to 165 MPH but still one of the very worst. Without a dramatic change, there will be a lot of dead bodies floating around New Orleans. And the weird thing about hurricanes, we won't know the real damage until about Wednesday-Thursday. The information just shuts down. John
