In reading the article you posted, and some others recently, it seems like over and over again in quotes from the parents of dead children who support Bus h, we are hearing the same refrain--that we must keep what we are doing in Iraq or the loss of their children would be in vain. I don't think that is a very logical way to think! If we kept on with that, even though the war is pretty much totally unsuccessful so far, we will end up with a lot more dead children and not much to show for it except for a totally devastated Iraq, terrorism in full bloom in more places, more dead civilians, etc. How are more deaths going to bring these parents any comfort? I don't understand. I think they would totally break down if they had to look objectively at what is happening and conclude that their children died for nothing positive at all.
