David Brooks is no moderate. Can you show me where he acknowledges that he is a moderate? Please cite the source so I can see it in black and white.

On the PBS Newshour, he is the conservative voice in the discussion, against a liberal. I did a web search, and over and over again he is referred to as a conservative columnist. Does it disturb you that he has moderated his opinion on the Iraq war somewhat? Does a conservative columnist who uses his brain and his analytical powers and may change his opinions based on what he sees as reality automatically become a moderate? If so, that sure doesn't say much for conservatism having any intellectual underpinnings at all.
