Some years ago I was sitting at a waterfront bar in SE Asia, pounding rum and cokes and watching the waves and wind build as a typhoon approached. Luckily, it struck only a glancing blow at my location and I chalked it up as one of the more interesting and stimulating experiences in my life.. :)
