Re: WWL internet feed - I was able to get a good stream and watched for about 15 minutes. Thanks. Major streets in New Orleans are near empty at this time. Wind gusts were affecting one of the hihgway cameras, causing it to shake. However, one reporter was traveling out Airline highway, going west to Baton Rogue. It has taken him about 3 hours to go 42 miles. Currently making progress at about 8 mph. He had a similar report from a east bound person. Jefferson Parish Sherriff reports the streets are empty, and appears almost everyone in his parish has taken advice and left.
