re: There are over 100k people in New Orleans and who aren't going to be able to leave. Easily a third of those could die. Even more. It could even be the case that New Orleans is never rebuilt to any extent. Yeah. Not certain. Maybe not probable. But certainly within the realm of possibilities within the next 24 hours. And the very possibility is worth our undivided attention and sympathy. It scares the hell out of me. John
