Now I have a question for you (or Grainne).

Basic training in the military as we know it has existed at least since the first World War, or almost 100 years. Over that time span tens of millions have undergone B.T. in the various services.

My question is, why has this issue of brainwashing come up after all this time?

I am hoping you will tell me that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the politics of the war in Iraq, and that the timing is sheer coincidence.
