I found this doing a search on Silverlith. " The silver halide plates have high sensitivity and image resolution. Some, such as the DuPont Silverlith SDB, can be exposed in special direct plate cameras or from a film positive in a contacting unit. Processing is similar to silver halide films and requires environmentally safe disposal of developer containing silver residue." This can be accessed at www.freeform.co.uk/connect/features/ctp.html It also goes on to discuss the prst plates and competition in the thermal market. It is just my opinion, but I think the safe disposal thing is a negative for the silverlith.
