I am guessing that Ted has never been through one. He certainly doesn't seem to understand the scale of deaths or destruction that is possible from this. There are over 100k people in New Orleans and who aren't going to be able to leave. Easily a third of those could die. Even more. It could even be the case that New Orleans is never rebuilt to any extent.

I have been in both.....a bad earthquake and at the center of a Category 2/3 hurricane. I'll take the hurricane any ole day. When the earth moves, there is no place safe.
