Bush should get serious or get off the pot. He could acknowledge his mistakes, fire Rumsfeld, bring back the old guard and raise an army of 250,000 Republicans :) to bring martial law and security to Iraq.

Once security is achieved, the rest of the world would be willing to bring in peacekeepers and contribute to reconstruction.

Without security, nothing much is possible.

Bush OTOH has essentially given up on the US military dominating Iraq in any meaningful way. His minions go around saying that the insurgency will not be defeated militarily so that it's up to the Iraqi security forces and politics.

We all know how the Iraq security forces are, infiltrated, scared and targeted. We all know how the politics are going....duck!

So why should anyone support Bush's war if HE'S GIVEN UP ON IT?

Bush is disconnected from reality but then so is the American Public. If the polls show that the public doesn't like the running of Bush's war, maybe it's because BUSH doesn't like the running of his war.
