Christine: with over a million pilots they sure do not want $20 to Billy for each one. Once you strip out the drives things get a lot easier, esp with a browser type OS, as it can be universal. I am also not that knowledgeable on Java, but if it lives up to its potential it can eliminate MSFT OSs in these high volume low cost apps. The thing is each of these apps, kills(often) a desktop using MSFT OS.. I would buy 2 of the boxes and let my kids use them on the internet, instead of the current fighting over the one, when I am away from it. With the fire wire serial interface you can have very simple fast home networks, and not use any others licensed stuff. Fire wire specs up to 400 MB/S for the fastest one. They can be used for monitors, printers, servers etc for small systems in homes. A very powerful standard. Bill
