Zeus, I hope you took them to the cleaners. We had one on Empire Poker last night who kept chasing everything and lost all of his money. He was swearing and whining "Two hands in a row I've had the second best full boat." Hey, it happens in Omaha all the time. I sometimes lose what I think is the nuts full house to a four of a kind in Omaha. You have to figure that with ten players getting 4 cards each and 5 community cards, that if it's possible, it's probable.
The youngsters are especially funny. Every time they lose, it's somebody else's fault. They think if they have a 54-46% advantage in a showdown, that, if they're beaten, that just proves the game is rigged. Uh, the odds say that if we play this 100 times, I win 46 of them. Then they swear and sometimes hang out for 10 minutes after they lose their money just to cuss everyone. Management will kick them off the site if you turn them in, but I like to allow losers to return as often as possible. |
