I got into a 100 mph + storm off of N Calif on a 100' fishing vessel once. Tore up the rigging something awful with steel poles banging into the wheelhouse and stuff just flying everywhere. (I happened to be on midnight to 4 am watch) Thankfully we had one of the west coasts premier sailors as our captain. We had to go into Sausalito for a months worth of repairs. What fun for a teenager. -gg- We headed out for Hawaii afterwards and were relieved. The rest of the story would make an incredible novel. ;) M
