Source: Corporate Filings Alert, Washington Activists Overland Storage (OVRL) Advanced Digital Information (ADIC) said it recently met with Overland's chief executive to discuss a possible business combination. ADIC said it bought the shares believing that "Overland's current enterprise value and corresponding market prices for the shares represent an attractive investment opportunity, as well as a possible opportunity to facilitate strategic consolidation within the data-storage industry." ADIC may talk to its board concerning the possibility of combining the two companies' operations. Advanced Digital currently holds 1,303,842 shares (9.28%), which it bought from Aug. 4 to 16 at $6.70 to $7.85 a share.
