WOW... just daring to mention that we might be good guys and providing a common sense explanation brought me this...

"When you're willing to get off the "we have good intentions" and "the terrorists are bad guys"

"Ed: ... was enough to generate clarion calls of...

"Rush Limbaugh straw men and deal with the arguments of the real opposition---or just keep singing off key if you don't mind making an intellectual spectacle of yourself. Ed"

Was it because I criticised your anti-war rant Ed?

"...and actually discuss whether what we've done, and are doing, in Iraq is helping or hurting, then let me know."

What we have done, and are doing in Iraq is actually helping Ed. Try one more time to connect those dots for me.

Allowing the Al-Quaida organization to engage in terrorism anywhere means that the goals of Al-Quaida are strengthened. The over arching goal of terrorist organizations is to establish an Islamofascist world Kalifate that will rule under the direction of the OBL type of extremism. The US and its Western allies are the biggest obstacle, which MUST be removed. Whether it is the sunni backed Al-Quaida type or the Shi'ite backed Al-Mahdi Army type the goal and operational agenda is the same.

get it?

PS: for the record I don't listen to extremists like Rush.
