What does the war in Iraq have to do with "securing our freedom"? What drugs are you on? When was Iraq threatening our freedom? We had Saddam defanged and in a box, surrounded by our troops. He wasn't about to threaten anyone but his family and friends. The only thing that war has done is made us less secure, less safe from terrorism, poorer and gouged more at the gas pump. Also, 2000 troops are dead and 20,000 more wounded for a war which, like Vietnam, was waged based on lies, exaggerations and stupid assumptions. Blind loyalty to Bush's failed Iraq policy is not being a good American. It is not doing the troops any good either. The troops don't want to stay in Iraq and we don't want them to stay either. We need our troops home alive, not dead. We need them to seal out border and help the hurricane victims. It's way overdue for them to come home. Bush-Cheney promised us the war would be over in a few weeks. They were wrong and lied. So forget Bush-Cheney, they have no credibility left. Let's just do the right thing for our country.
