If the Demos had any brains, they'd use this like the Republicans used the gay marriage issue; it's the best wedge issue the Demos have.

As you can tell from my posting, I have become very unhappy with the Admin on this issue. But it is a tough one. We need the immigrants. There is no way we are going to deport everyone here illegally. So what do we do?

I still think a fool-proof SS card with a very good system to check is the answer. This gets rid of people without worrying about a wall at the border. But it is obvious that congress and the Prez don't want this.
