Hi Jeff,

Thanks for welcoming me aboard. I pretty much follow PB in regards to EPS Ranking, RS Ranking, New High and Volume. I base my spread on the closing 52 Week High and Low as oppose to the actual High and Low. I also like to see a New High breaking out with volume greater than 150% of the 50-day average and I want the accumulation-distribution to be "A" or "B". I don't use their "Merit" or "Power" Rankings (which is same as Merit, but based on relative strength); my feeling is that they too often eliminate strong candidates (i.e ORBKF, MIND and ZOLT would have failed) The updated PB looks for the industry group, based on Barrons Dow Jones Industry Group, to have had a positive week. I use this, but I also want a group ranking of 60 or better and an ERG (EPS, RS & Group) of 255 or better. I then look at the charts to make sure the stock is not to far from its base.

Gary
