I did armed guard duty at my office a few years back when a hurricane was close by but decided it was only tolerable if I dipped into our collection of single malts and in that case I wouldn't be much of a guard anyway.

It would raise too much of a fuss if they started shooting looters, for some reason our society thinks that the life of a thief is worth more than the property he is stealing. Nevermind the guy who risks his life to protect his livelihood by riding out the storm with a shotgun by his side.
