Its state by state and Florida has one. However that doesnt stop some ambulance chaser attorney from suing you in the hopes of a settlement. Sadly, we have those parisites in droves here in Fla. They can file a suit for less then $500 and it costs you a minimum of about 15k to defend yourself. So, they hit you with the suit, then say, tell you what, we'll settle for 10k. jdn
