To All, Media notes: I was impressed with the manager of the Founders Growth Fund on Wall Street Week. Yes, he was old enough to drink, barely, but he seemed wise beyond his years. Barron's was boring this week. Of course, last week they didn't print my letter to them, the first miss I've had in 15 attempts with them, so maybe I'm pouting a bit. -G- The chip analyst from Salomon Bros. seemed to be telling my story on Micron on CNBC. Except she was nicer and being polite. But she said things like no upturn for at least 2 or 3 quarters, which is far longer than the bulls are expecting. So, my faith in the Street is partially restored and my faith in the mutual fund business is partially restored, and I'm still carrying a grudge with Barron's. -G- MB
