I agree on Lieberman. He was far too supportive of Bush on Iraq. Remember though, when swingvoters who voted for Bush change their minds and decide to vote Democratic, they are not as likely to go with a liberal as a centrist. Don't forget how badly McGovern lost in 1972 despite a very unpopular war and Nixon-Agnew, who were not exactly stellar candidates.
