YOu know what really pisses me off about this whole thing? When there was a tsunami in Muslim countries, the U.S. was the largest donor of money and goods, as well as man power to help them out. In addition, the entire world gave aid to that area.

When there is a large scale disaster on U.S. soil, no other country helps the U.S, including the Muslim countries we just finished helping out.

I think it is painfully obvious that we are all alone in this world. Even before 9/11, the whole world had its hand out to the U.S. begging and we've always given. But when we need help, who is ever there to help? The only ones I can think of that have been with us through thick and thin are the Brits.

I'm tired of us working hard and then giving money to every other country. It's time we start spending our money on ourselves. We have a lot of issues that we need to work out right here at home: poor education, inadequate medicare, dwindling social security, crumbling infrastructure, digital divide between rich and poor, woefully inadequate electricity infrastructure, and border control.

When are we going to turn inwards and solve our own problems? It's pretty obvious no one else will help us when we need it. So we'd better get smart and stop being the world's benefactor and patsy.
