Results from Adipose Stem Cell Preclinical Studies to be Reported
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 2005--Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (Frankfurt:XMP - News), announced today its Fall medical conference presentation schedule. The Company will present preclinical results on the use of adult adipose stem and regenerative cells at the following meetings:
-- International Fat Applied Technology Society Conference,
Charlottesville, VA, September 10-13, 2005
Cytori will present results from a preclinical small-animal
efficacy study of adipose stem and regenerative cells for the
treatment of cardiac injury.
-- North American Spine Society, Philadelphia, PA, September 27-
October 1, 2005
Cytori will present data related to the potential application
of adipose stem and regenerative cells in degenerative disc
disease.
-- Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Conference,
Washington, D.C., October 17-21, 2005
Cytori will present results from a randomized and blinded
large-animal preclinical study of adipose stem and
regenerative cells for the treatment of heart attack. The
animal's own stem and regenerative cells, isolated by Cytori's
unique cell processing method, were administered without cell
culture within hours of the heart attack so as to best
simulate a potential clinical setting.
-- Tissue Engineering Society International Conference, Shanghai,
P.R. China, October 22, 2005
Cytori will present preclinical data related to the angiogenic
(blood vessel forming) capability of adipose stem and
regenerative cells.
-- American Heart Association, Dallas, TX, November 13-16, 2005
Cytori will present additional data from the preclinical
small-animal efficacy study of adipose stem and regenerative
cells for the treatment of cardiac injury.
