Saddam did not hit us with SCUDS. Our Patriot missiles hit us. Friendly fire. Get your facts straight. Saddam made only the lamest possible attempts to attack us during the Gulf War. And none of his attempts worked. Almost all our casualties were from friendly fire. You know, if you want to learn about the reality of the Iraq War read the book "Generation Kill". It will teach you severals things: - Our troops kick ass - The brass often lets them down - After the initial invasion there was no plan what to do next. - Thyey can't tellf riend from foe so sometimes just shoot anyone with brown skin. - The troops were ordered to keep moving and not secure ammo dumps or mobs of likely future insurgents - The troops know they're being used by the oil biz fat cats and were disappointed when oil prices rose after the war. - Few troops give a damn about Bush or Jesus, that's considered wimpy - Troops don't really care about politics at all - Troops see through Pentagon propaganda - Troops were pissed about the WMD's lies because they had to wear those awful haz-mat suits - Once they had taken Baghdad, they wanted to go home and celebrate but Bush kept them there for 3+ years stuck in a hellhole and now morale stinks. - Many of the troops feel we have no plan in Iraq at all, but obeys orders anyway - Most of them just want to go to Bangkok or back to their wives and party. - The #1 fear is not death but their wives back home cheating on them - The #1 most popular music is hardcore rap
