Bush's invasion of Iraq was based on almost complete fabrications and lies. Plus, worst of all, Bush never took the time or effort to do any planning about what we do once we have invaded that country. To Bush, once the oilfeilds were in his hands and Halliburton got a multi-billion dollar contract, nothing else had to be planned. According to Cheney, the assumption was we would be greeted as liberators, the whole thing would be over in weeks or months and Iraqi oil would pay for everything. All total lies. I am baffled why you continue defending these people? Just party loyalty? Well cut it out. The GOP is as much a victim of the Texas oil cartel as anyone. They were hijacked too.
