Why don't you read all the scholarly articles and first-hand accounts that Ionesco and I posted about brainwashing techniques in the military? The military is very clear it is using them. You keep trying to make a moral judgment or something, but we are talking about psychological training techniques. Did you take a lot of psych in college? It is that kind of discussion. No one is disputing that you have free will, or accusing you of being some kind of vegetable. You cannot turn a bunch of wild and divergent teenagers into a fighting unit and ask them to kill people until you subvert their individuality quite a bit, and make them trust their commanders and the group more than themselves. I am not sure why this is so hard to understand. It is not personal, or intended as any kind of an insult.
